Pests and Diseases Part 1

This week, Dave Wescott and Scott Calentine discuss the history of the native Washington bee and primarily focus on pests and diseaes facing honey bee colonies in Washington. In this episode we focus on varroa mites, tracheal mites, European Fouldbrood, and American Foulbrood. If you suspect your hives have any of these pests or diseases contact a local beekeeper and consult varioius sources to determine the probelm. Don't try to solve things alone!
