Pests and Diseases Part 2

This week, Dave Wescott and Scott Calentine continue the conversation from the previous episode. We dive into pest and diseases once again- addressing the common misconception of bees and yellow jackets/hornets. Not all "bees" are the same! Know the difference between honey bees, other bees, and things that are not bees. In this episode, we focus on things such as nosema, chalkbrood, small hive beetles, wax moths, and other pests. If you suspect your hives have any of these pests or diseases contact a local beekeeper and consult various sources to determine the problem. Don't try to solve things alone!
