She passed at the young age of 3, and it had such a toll on our family. She was diagnosed on my birthday, and just 4 days after we learned I was pregnant with our twins. It took many months for me to be able to look at pictures and videos of her without tearing up, and even now, 3 years later, I get emotional about her beautiful spirit and how she was taken from us so soon. With our other dog Kramer passing his 16th birthday, I am once again reminded of how short a dog’s life is, and how special they get to spend it with us. Today’s guest Kristen is a stay-at-home mom who started offering pet doula sessions to her community. We dive into our experiences losing our dogs and explore deeper conversations.
