Peter Hook and the Light, Bassist for Joy Division and New Order

Peter Hook is the English singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, best known as the bassist and co-founder of the English post punk band, Joy Division which later became New Order following the death of frontman, Ian Curtis in 1980. Hook also recorded with Revenge, Monaco, Freebass and currently he is the lead singer and bassist for Peter Hook and the Light. He is the author of The Hacienda: How Not to Run a Club (2009), Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division (2012) and  Substance: Inside New Order (2016).
