Peter Mayhew Tribute

Today on Echo Station we mourn the passing of Star Wars actor Peter Mayhew. Mayhew was of course known for his portrayal of the lovable Wookiee Chewbacca in the original trilogy, Revenge of the Sith, parts of The Force Awakens, and consulted on episodes 8 and 9 with Joonas Suotamo (The new Chewbacca) taking over the role due to Peters advanced age. Kris and Ian share personal stories about meeting Peter, we discuss a bit of Star Wars news, and we fondly remember the big walking carpet who is now watching over our Princess in the sky. If you'd like to make a donation the the charity that Peter started follow the link: http://petermayhewfoundation.org Comment or hit us up @EchoStationCast on Twitter or @HeroesPodcasts on Facebook!
