Today we talked to Peter Ryan, the Irish Ambassador to New Zealand about Brexit, the Irish Language and, of course, the Rugby World Cup. Ambassador Ryan has served as Second Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission at the Irish Embassy in Seoul, Korea, before moving to the Embassy of Ireland, Singapore and working for the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources covering ICT, science and energy policy in the Asia-Pacific Region. After that, he was appointed Director of the Asia-Europe Foundation in Singapore before moving to New York as Deputy Consul General for three years.
