Peter Singer, author of seminal books Animal Liberation, Practical Ethics and The Life You Can Save, helped launch the animal rights and effective altruism movements, while contributing to the development of bioethics. Now, in his book Ethics in the Real World, Singer shows that he is also a master of dissecting important current events in a few hundred words.Anantha Duraiappah has served as inaugural director of the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development in New Delhi, India since 2014.
