Peter's Preaching - Stephen Tisnell | Bigger x Bolder

from Blackpool Church - Talk Archive Hosted by Blackpool Church

We hate losing control. Letting someone truly love us feels terrifying. We build high walls to stay safe. In this talk from our Acts series, Steven looks at Acts chapter 2. Peter stands up to give the very first church sermon. The crowd is waiting for a massive shift. They get something completely unexpected. Instead of staying safe and isolated, this conversation invites us to accept an unconventional birthday gift. God offers a promised kingdom to live in. He gives a real king to follow. He provides a new heart to live with. It happens through normal people having normal conversations. Join us Sundays at 11am + 6pm. Doors open 30mins before for ☕️. https//:www.facebook.com/blackpool.church https//:www.instagram.com/blackpool.church https//:www.tiktok.com/@blackpool.church
