We like to call it the supernatural hour and now our host Hey, welcome to the supernatural hour. This is your host Raven. This is doc chads here. This is jazz Sorry, I had a crazy day today We started the job looking at me like and go go I have to tell you guys something chick play lies It's a good lie, but it's a lie.
Have you ever had a guy about have you ever had their diet lemonade? No, it is I like full fat and full sugar. Well, so do I but my body doesn't so I can't eat any carbs So I ordered the diet lemonade last week and I didn't drink it because I thought they might confess sugar and it's too delicious to be diet So I ordered it again today, and it's the same delicious and I even double checked my name I gave it to me and I know this is diet right? Yes, it is just freakin delicious So you know this isn't our first Chick-fil-A reference if anybody out there interested in sponsoring Jick-fil-A if you're listening, what's wrong?
You don't think telling them your diet lemonade is freaking late It's like fresh squeezed and I swear there's eight thousand calories in it but it's diet apparently so you know My your miracle So for the business it's brought to you by Castle Photo Art go to Castle for your photo needs So what are we doing for business? We have a couple of new investigations up. Yeah, so our dead talk Dead talk That's what we call it dead talk a paranormal experience. It's going to be like get it like a TED talk, but it's a dead talk Exactly that is my idea.
I'm taking credit for that because that's like the only amazing thing I'll be doing a very long time So on September 16th at 7 p.m. We will be having our dead talk a paranormal experience Presentation from 7 until 8 30 and then at 9 For those who purchased the tickets with the investigation will be investigated from 9 to 11 half the thing So there are two different tickets There's a ticket that's $10 just for the presentation that they talk a paranormal experience and there's a $35 ticket Which is limited to only 25 individuals And that one you know same presentation, but then we'll follow it with an investigation of theater and those those 20 They're actually going pretty quick. So I mean we put it up and sold like four within what like an hour So if you want those hop on this is a hot take What is the main topic? The first one is just kind of paranormal 101 We are what we do.
Why do we do it? What are the ghost hunting ghost investigating basics? What are safety procedures what to do to protect yourself? We'll talk some about equipment what to do if you brought a demon home Pretty much Call us So it's gonna be a fun investigation.
We have investigated at the hub theater. We did one last was a January February And it was very successful very there was we could see if you're creepy bear still out in the back Oh, no cheese. Yeah, you know we went and checked it a couple months ago It was a little stuff bear thing stuffed animal bear toy that was all grungy and like creepy There was a funny story with that because one of the other groups went out to check on it at the same time as the other group And they see each other. That was hilarious.
We all about what ourselves So it's an awesome venue too. I actually saw a an orb with my an a-i in one of the theaters Yeah, this was in American for the the Town hub theater. I've got it right that time I always say like the up the theater or the town theater It's the town up the eight right on the right on Main Street and then emmett when you saw that wasn't a different color It wasn't as white was it pink or yeah, it was it was pink And it was it was up towards the ceiling and a couple other of our Investigators saw it too. It was pretty neat.
We also have our October investigation scheduled We haven't got the tickets up on that yet. That's gonna be at the the Levitt cemetery in Lognon and we invested it dated there a couple of years ago, and it was really really cool We had a great night that night. We're looking for a repeat of that one, but that's a that's a great great venue Okay, so that Levitt cemetery investigation is gonna be October 22nd. We'll probably start that about eight o'clock or eight We get a little more information on that as we get that up.
We don't have it up on a vent right yet But we'll be putting that up pretty quickly in addition to that Doc you brought something out else up that we've got going on this weekend. Mm-hmm super natural insiders meetup Yeah, we're looking forward to that. So for all of the insiders We have a little smorry and get together we call it shindig and we have Our insiders and they bring guests based on their patron level and we're gonna do an investigation and we're gonna have Chick-fil-a like I said Please yeah, it was delicious. We had their chicken strips and all their dips So we're looking forward to that meeting with our with our patrons and their guests Yeah, so if you want to get in on that they bring sides and you know last year the sides were all Amazing.
There was not a nasty side to be I remember a bow type Austin Yes, and I have to do a top-on to patreon become one of our patrons. There's different levels Different budgets and different stuff you want, but you get fun swag and get to come in with us That's this weekend of the 27. Yes, our next podcast will tell you how amazing it was on the funny list because you're a patron We learned how to investigate on a full stomach. Yep, exactly in addition october is gonna get a little busy for us Spooky season we have a few library presentations.
You want to talk about that Raven? Um, so the library presentations are kind of fun. They last about an hour and you know Again, we just kind of go over some basics of ghost hunting You know because it's it's a library presentation They don't want to get to you know down and dirty and then we do a really brief investigation just enough to you know Kind of wet their whistle and give them a taste of it and we've actually picked up the regulars from these library presentations But we've got four lined up so we've got one at the central park community center in salt lake 25th south Southeast on Thursday the 13th of october Chapman library is on the 14th of october American Fork library is on the 21st of october and then bring the library on the 26th of october So if you're interested in any of those contact the libraries because I think they do control seeding on a lot of those Antigots those are free presentations by the library Um, we do have one other little thing we can throw out as long as we're talking about spooky season So I was on facebook and noticed that the indian hills haunt is officially going to be the 28th 29th and 31st of october so we'll have information about that on how much Yeah, that's a fun one. That's a great back When I say backyard haunt it's not just a little haunted so it's quite a production that's done by our clouds who Sometimes on the podcast eat does a fun job anything else business No, that was a lot of business Our poor listeners The busy season and there's really there is a lot more paranormal energy in the air in october than any other month So if you only get out, you know once a year that's the month to do it So I understand there were some investigations residential investigation.
So yeah, we did a residential And it actually wasn't our residential we were just asked to come in and assist on it But there was a woman who woke up to see Pictures of herself on her camera and she was alone You know pictures while she was sleeping and it looks like a man in the cloak with his hands, you know Which she had to touch her so she actually called the medium and the medium works with us and she was asked us to come and assist Make sure there wasn't anything else there because it sounded pretty nasty, but it was a spirit named gossamer It was really interesting. He didn't present to me as like a person standing that he presented as like energy Right up at the top of the ceiling, but he was actually there as a protector spirit Her daughter was there her daughter had passed what's the mouth issues and the daughter was there hasn't crossed didn't really have a message Just wanted to hang out with her mom. She said that she knew how to cross with when she felt like it was time for her So the only other thing there was a type three in the neighboring apartment So we you know salted and he didn't come into the apartment He just was kind of watching hoping that maybe this homeowner would get scared enough that he could swoop in and take over but Gossamer is pretty strong and I'm out of a barrier so he kind of kept him out kind of kept him at bay, but we went up and put just salt On the wall and then sage to get the bad you do out, but we weren't there for very long because it wasn't as nasty and scary as we thought Things things hovering over you when you're sleeping and you wake up It's like hanging over me so Yeah, I could see how that would go So I think that kind of wraps up the investigations and the things we've got and the upcoming investigations So let's move on to the main topic We have this thing if we don't know how to pronounce stuff on our show who wants to take a step of this I'll try it because I listened to some guys talk about it on youtube and they drop the silent tea at the end So Marcel, Pedio. I'm gonna go Pedio on that.
Pedio. He sounds right. He's a little bit different Exactly. That's why they sounded but I took very close.
You know, yeah, the tea was silent He's a very interesting guy. He's born in like 1897 or so and he killed a lot of people Quite a interesting story doc. You want to give us a little information that you got doctor marsow petio Say that's why you needed to do it. Hey, hey doctor satan I mean if you have a moniker go big.
Oh, I can't even aspire to doctor satan. I don't think you want to I hope you don't he was he was a pretty bad dude. Yeah, he said he was born in 1897 Sounds like he had a pretty disturbed childhood You know based on the things that they said were going on in his childhood if he hadn't been a child back in the early 1900s I think they would have figured out what the issues were He was a psychopo. Yeah, well, wasn't he was a child of privilege and his father kept bailing him out You know and that that still happens today unfortunately You know, yeah, they don't kids don't learn consequences when there's not repercussions for your actions Marcel as a child, you know, did small things like bringing his dad's gun to school Soliciting sex from another student at the age of 11.
He was pretty messed up I heard there was like animal torturing torturing some animals all of the red flags that I think would have been picked up on in the modern era But yeah, so I was like jeez in 2020's. I don't think he would have gotten far forgotten that far I would hope not you know the problem was like you said he he never really oh yeah He also was like robbing things and he was a club domineac and I mean lots of red flags But he was always always bailed out and anytime that he had evaluations. They're like, yeah, I mean He's just crazy and then they just let him go like he never really kind of really good at jail or anything Especially a lot of younger age of course others like yeah, he doesn't mentally ill and then in the early 19 teens He went into world war one. Yeah, he got drafted by the French army But if you're gonna trap people you want to get the crazy one right go to crazy ones who already have experience with guns obviously Don't have to trust much so well He was able to get away with a lot of stuff because you've blamed the resistance.
Oh, I'm doing it for the resistance Yeah, that's a little right too. Yeah, but you're absolutely correct and he used you know, we'll talk about that in a minute But yeah, he well it a prolific liar. It kind of blew me I mean even in world war one. I mean he was stealing stuff and they were like, yeah, he's mentally ill and that was about as far as it went so eventually didn't they put him in a sanatorium for Middle illness and the issues after or during or after world war one Yeah, but he got like redeployed So he he he was serving in 1917 and then they sent him to the front lines in 1918 even after he stole a bunch of military army boy kids and got charged with theft And they didn't really do any time there because they were like, oh, I'm crazy Marcel again Let's let him go find the front line.
So that sounds good You can follow up on this doc because of your medical credentials, but I think it said it took him something like eight months to become a doctor Yeah, which I'm sure was normal for the time, but holy cow eight months for a mentally ill guy to become a doctor. That's uh, that's frightening actually well there wasn't as much to learn in 1918 either job it off or you don't I guess that's kind of where we stop That's true when you're out of leeches. You're pretty much done I was I was reading through with his uh with his deployment on the front lines He shot himself in the foot and that was kind of what led to him being evaluated again for a mental illness and they were like, yep He's crazy and they discharged him on disability and they recommended that he'd be committed to an asylum at that time But instead they gave him an accelerated education program for a veterans and he became a doctor The person that I want in charge of my medical needs is the crazy institutionalizes guy. You know, I'll do you one better Let's just rushing through med school.
That's yeah scary Oh, they do that too. Oh, yeah, no, he's in charge of more than more than just being you know people's lives in all holy cow So yeah, he ended up moving to a small village, which I cannot pronounce because it's fresh sir Or sir, you know, I can't even pronounce it And just started a massing a bunch of patients that he would uh he would find addicts and prescribe narcotics to them because He doesn't just love gaggles of and then he would have them pay and then what else would he do? Yeah, he'd build he build a state as well. He would double bill and get money from his patients and then he would also fly for uh For like state assistance as well Which is you know, one of those things that sent you to prison for a very long time these days Insane with this guy.
What's doing? Apparently, there's not a lot to send you to prison back just chill and dope to people and then double billing for it So yeah, dr. Satan is setting himself up. We haven't even gotten to the bad part yet Oh, no, this is all this is all this is all very tame It's better.
Oh my gosh So wasn't it about this time that he decided it'd be kind of cool to be the mayor? Well, yeah, I think uh So I was Reading that he he he ended up hooking up with one of the uh daughters of one of his patients and then she mysteriously disappeared Yeah, well, did we talk about why she experienced? They disappeared? Well, um, he hired her to be like a nurse like a you know, like a Assistant and the neighbors after a certain point of time thought she looks a little pregnant.
Ah That's a problematic. That'd be in a motherly way and um then mysteriously she disappeared And he was I mean there was a lot of people that were like dude smart. So guy I don't know seems pretty suspicious. He's really saw him move in a trunk.
They're like that trunk looks like the one we found in the river with body parts in it Despite all of that he's still he's like you know what I'm gonna do right now. I'm a run for mayor I'm gonna become the mayor despite the fact that like there's a whole bunch of eyeballs on you for a murder And then the crazy thing is he went what is going on in France in the 1920s? That's what I want to know Well, everybody voting for him was you know Depending on him for their drugs all of his dope up patients are like, yeah No, it's just going doctor satan. He's got my vote Is this the same time that he was saying that he was on the resistance?
No, that was later still All right. I'll be good. No, you're good. This is that we're still in the 1920s working up to the 1930s and early 40s with the war Yeah, he's still just a training at this point.
What a late point Well, the girl that um disappeared or whatever Was 19 poof So so dr. Satan here who has already had a history of kleptomania and mellowness and you know sex addiction type stuff and prescribing narcotics and double billing for Care provided and mysterious management of people he might have been in relations with I also got accused of stealing tech fair money cans of oil from the railroad department like this guy could not stop He just kept it he did he's like, oh, yeah, I'll take that oil. Let me take a taxpayer money too Uh, so we ended up in court again and he was fined and he was sentenced to three months was his sentence But they overturned it again Because he was mentally like us. He was just crazy It's this is the mayor so and then and then he either lost the mayor or they took it away from him I don't remember what it was.
Yeah, so it says he had several more years of complaints and accusations of threat of a theft This was like from 1927 to 1931 They they finally removed him from office in 1931 Uh, and only a little over a month after he was removed his mayor. He won a seat on the general council for the district After after all of the accusations of theft everything else that he's done and then being removed to the point that you removed his mayor Yeah, forcefully removed his mayor. He goes and wins a seat on the general council for the district And he was the youngest man to ever sit in that office, but he was a doctor. Doctors are well respected man.
There's more But wait, so then while he was on the district like the general council He got charged with stealing electric power from the city And he was fined there and then he lost his seat and moved to Paris I don't need a really long extension cord. I don't know Yeah, electricity was pretty sweet back then. Um, I have no idea The batteries and charging batteries run with it. I don't know but holy crap man.
It was kind of like in the 80s when we had loose people's HBO That's right So yeah, quite the runs so far and I think we're getting kind of into this his uh, this was all like first act stuff Intermission, okay, go get your popcorn. Let's go get some popcorn So in 1933 he starts growing medical practices in Paris Once it's done with the small town now. He's going to the big city. Oh, yeah, and you know much more opportunity in the big city.
I understand Yeah, he had a pretty good reputation there once again was shilling drugs and making those addicts super happy Through on some illegal abortions as well. Um, yeah, well you want you need to expand That's right. He keeps expanding the practice And then he's he's charged with kutomania again, and then he's arrested for theft and assaulting a police officer But he got acquitted because of he's crazy sanity This guy I don't know that I want this guy anywhere near me ever they did say finally spent a few months in a sanitarium But then he was released despite the doctors doubts as to his sanit and then he committed tax rather bunch of times And then germany invaded rans in 1939 and that made it all better So now my part comes in act two And I've depolymed I did not research this very much because school started today and so I've been like Repipent school, but he did tell everybody that he was on the liberation on the You know, find the resistance So he was on the resistance he claimed yep And that was part of the way that he you know He'd tell people all these fantastic things and it's kind of a great gig because you know you help people disappear That's right. There's people that wanted to get out of nazi occupied paris in france And he had quite a reputation of helping people disappear Yeah, he charged like 25,000 france money Right, it's banks and that's like half a million dollars today Yeah, and in addition to that then he would tell them also to take all the assets They could and make them so that they could be carried, you know I mean bringing gold or changing the change of into something that can be transferred because as you get out of the country You're gonna need those assets when you get to your new place before you get disappeared bring everything of value to my You have everything bring bring bring all the family air loops, okay?
Sell your properties you don't want that sell your cars because you can't take them with it They'll just lose everything if you if you leave it here So just sell everything that you got and bring it here to the office with you and funny enough Those people did in fact disappear Where did they go? Argentina Yeah, he had quite you know that was kind of the I've got a way to get you to Argentina through We're using Spanish resistance and French resistance to get you to Argentina So that you'll be safe there with every worldly belonging that you have ever transferred into a portable easily Scammed medium, right? But you know what's crazy Argentina requires some pretty amazing vaccines You gotta get vaccinated before you go Got to get those booster shots guys. Yeah before you go to Argentina.
You've got to get vaccines in 1939 So that was the last shot they ever needed That's right. Only one. Yeah, that's their vaccine After all of these people brought all of their valuables to him and he promised to make them disappear With a minimum of 250,000 francs as just said was like a quarter million dollars Or was it a half million quarter million half million dollars in today's money You get them a little little shot of cyanide And no one ever saw them again. No, they disappeared.
He did he promised he got the promise And the way that he would get me obviously you start stacking up some bodies you gotta find ways to get rid of them So, you know The bodies he would try to dissolve and like a quick line or bury them or burn them in this little stove I saw a picture of the little stove he tried to burn them But you'd have to chop them up into little pieces and kind of burn them, you know over a long period of time Hence you end up with like 23 bodies in your basement. Yeah In two cases. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're rid of them somehow. So what do you do?
Yeah, the neighbors actually did I did do a tiny bit of research the neighbors actually did fill the place at one point and say you know It's the humor. I think didn't help her down Well, there was a whole bunch of smoke coming from it and there was a nasty smell coming from it So they called the fire department. They're like, I don't know what's going on with this house, but holy cow There's a bunch of smoke and uh, yeah, so many to check this out So you know firefighters are like doo doo doo and he was out of town at the time Let's go check this thing out. He's like don't go in there wait till I get there Yeah, and then they waited like a long time and they're just like we just go in there and uh Mm, a bunch of body parts.
Yeah, so the police and the fire department essentially came and uh found the body parts of at least 10 bodies at least 10 bodies buried in the basement and then they found Parts of other bodies kind of and I think they said if they took all the parts because it wasn't one There was not one full human being, but I think they said they can make either and I don't remember exactly what they could make either 10 Or 18 complete people with the parts that they found right but probably more than 18 people. Yeah, but they could make 18 people But what they found in the basement at this point of frankenstein monster Because he had he had to suppose some of them in the same river They're in Paris He had disposed of some of them there but it's hard when people start floating around and so he's trying to think of a you know A much better way to help these people disappear completely and permanently and the river wasn't wasn't hacking it for him Interesting stuff there Well surprisingly when they discovered this he didn't really get in trouble at first because he's like oh It's just body parts of the people that are against resistance and all that and they're like all right. That's valid. Yeah, because you know what?
I'm in the resistance and and I'm helping these are the collaborators and these are german peep You know, these are the germans and these are collaborators So that's why they're dead That's why I'm killing these people is not because I'm getting 250 You know or 25,000 francs from from from them and every world Lee belonging they ever have I'm working for the resistance. Yes. There's a resistance fighter. Of course.
I killed the enemies of the French I mean, I don't know how they ended up in my house. Yeah, well Bodies end up in houses sometimes guys that was kind of his whole thing Well, how do you like lived in another time period? There's no way it would have extended this long because it's like oh This is a time period of like you know war and stuff. It's cool.
No problem Yeah, that was the perfect cover for him And then he kind of claimed he was framed and like oh no other people must have put those bodies in my house and stuff them in the chimney Tied to milk them with light and then he would Climb that that wasn't me And then he would tell people all of these stories can be collaborated by this French resistance leader and this French resistance leader and this and Unfortunately, all of those guys have been killed. Yeah, so, you know, so they couldn't collaborate. They also quote go to Argentina No, no, they've been killed by Nazis. Oh, well, you know, I mean they were publicly They had been publicly executed in different things as they were found from a resistance sample They were just put to death.
They weren't actually disappeared Yeah, they didn't disappear on their own like the the Nazis made sure they didn't disappear There was a Nazi plot to try to try to uncover this pipeline that was getting people out of the country Did you hear about that one? No? I think it was the Gestapo or Some part of the the Nazi military they had heard about this and they had actually got a Jewish guy and coerced him to go And you know put feelers out that he was trying to get out The doctor had some of his drug-addicted patients Kind of having their air out for people that were doing this and that's how he would bring these people in Is you know people would be listening to people that are how can I get out of town? Well, I've got away.
I'm kind of one of those things Well this Jewish man that was working not by his choice for the Nazis was actually You know he had told some people and they got the information and the doctor They got him the doctor's name and they made the connections So the Nazis actually found out about his system about you know disappearing about how he's getting people out And they were thinking originally it was happening They were actually going they were thinking that these people are going to Argentina They're trying to do that But from what they said with that when the Nazis actually did it and came in and kind of interrogated him questioned him They let him go There's probably no proof anyone would talk to me Well, I think that's it And and I think on the other end and they didn't say this directly but I think on the other end He was helping them do the things they were doing with the undesirables He was he was killing and disposing them and that was part of you know The Nazi thing was to kill not only Jews but gypsies, you know and anybody that had people they did Feel fleeing from the Germans. Yeah, if you're trying to get away, we don't want you to Yeah, I mean he took care of it So that was kind of interesting that he even he even got away from the Nazis I mean they even kind of busted his his little scheme Yeah, so kind of like if the Nazis, you know, find out about what you're doing and and decide That's okay and don't take and shoot you they must be thinking you're kind of working on their side Anyway kind of interesting for that part So they're not bad enough for the Nazis. I think you're bad. I mean that's a pretty big deal Yeah, but they didn't do anything to stop it.
It's like joining their team. True Yeah, it's kind of nuts I mean the way that they found all these bodies he wasn't immediately arrested Right like he fled and it sounds like he went into hiding with one of his patients But he had a lot of people around him that I think were either willing to vouch for him or at least Not a not out him for what he was doing including I mean he was married You know we mentioned that a little bit I think but his wife was likely a co-conspirator as he was Profiting from all of this $250,000 per pop and uh and double billing for medical, you know Carey and that was just getting out of town. That wasn't anything else. They had cashed out and bringing with him That was the entrance fee not not everything that they may have brought with him So you could see how I guess with enough enough money and enough drugs you can hide for a while Yeah, well He spent a lifetime in self-promotion too and he really did have apparently a lot of a lot of fans Out there among the general public and people that believed his stories that he was a real resistance fighter Yeah, they did try to hide him as a you know as a hero It sounds like once they finally captured him put him on trial He was charged with 27 murders, but he claimed he killed a total of 63 german's and collaborators Yeah, that's that's why they killed his collaborators 63 between between the years 1940 and 1945 He was found guilty of the 27 murders and 99 other criminal charges And was sentenced to death by kitty And he was sentenced to death on May 25th 1945 and his his last words.
I don't know why I find these funny It's gentlemen. I asked you not to look this will not be very pretty Well, the other thing I found was it came to his execution that they said he just seems so nonchalant about him like getting care I mean this man was so psychopathic he had no feels for anything even himself. Just like hey guys. It's gonna be a messy See Yeah, I mean he was already involved with another woman who mysteriously vanished in trunk Maybe he's not someone that gets mad.
He's just someone that kind of murders you and gets even he might be a little more But there's a lot of like serial killers or whatever that like the wife joins in because it's like they become like Obsessed or very like attached to this person and they would do anything for them. So maybe it's one of those mindsets Yeah, and oftentimes they feed off each other They didn't really say that so much. Yeah, do you think the the 63 people that he admitted to telling to was a form of confession for him? Where I'm sure he was even tabs right like crazy people do stuff like that He's like, yeah, you're driving with 27, but I would tell you it's I killed 63 But they were all bad guys so I'm innocent My take would be that that's probably his kill.
Yeah, I would think so he probably any probably wanted people to But not at the same time I think he wanted the the notoriety the info me that came with it But at the same time was still able to claim that he was doing it all for the glory of the France and the resistance It's not He wanted that money, I mean, he got over like two million dollars doing all that Oh, yeah, you know, you just think of the numbers if he's getting 250,000 from even half of the people that That he that were there and dead plus all the jewelry plus gold and everything else they brought with them to start a new life in the country Jesus. So yeah, I bet there's some bad juju associated with with mr. Marcel petio I read there's actually a French movie that was released in 1990 about his life during the World War two years I'd like to see if there's a copy of that available. Do you remember what it was called?
Ductio With you Well, my grandfather was a full-blooded Frenchman. Let's say our one French viewer is now unsubscribed I did take French at junior high because I had a crush on the French teacher No, that's cute, which is what better reason this is not the first time within the podcast about serial killer And you might ask you're a paranormal podcast planner if you're doing serial killers We're not a true crime podcast, but the thing about it is you think about just how heavy you know All the horrible things that this man did and all the body parts down in his basement You know, so there's obviously dismemberment and it would I mean is that is that house still standing is the building still there Serial killers just because of what they do are just a magnet for you know, dark spirits. I mean he probably had type 3s evil spirits around him I mean, that's just a hotbed for some paranormal. I could probably left a trail of negative energy and horrible residual energy everywhere he went Yeah, I wonder too what happens like when he dies like you know is He around does he have like feelings or does he cause negative energy now?
Is he you know, what does he turn into? I don't know Yeah, or does he move through something I kind of envisioned people like this might be a little bit like in the movie ghost Where you remember the guy that the guy that actually killed Patrick Swayze when he got killed where those black things came and grabbed and pulled him down to hell I thought that was kind of cool. That's what I hope I was a little worried you were gonna reference the pottery scene Well, there's that too Oh the evil one of us. Oh, yeah another romantic case after the pottery scene Oh the place from behind and everything creep when we were watching that documentary.
Yeah Brad is just shaking her head We talk about that there are the are type twos that there's the the ones that are coerced and then there's the ones that were just really awful people At this point and I think that there's maybe some people not crossing over into the next realm and some people Maybe not wanting to go, but I think some people some entities some spirits may not really have much of a choice If they've done things way Right. So what I want to kind of throw out there the store listeners. We've got listeners all over the world Seriously all over the world. I was actually kind of surprised at that I joke we've got you know our four listeners and that's kind of a running joke We do every once in a while, but we actually have a pretty good audience And if any of you are in France, where will be going to France?
Find this person's house go there. You can have to be like creepy stock, which we have done before And just stand across the street put out your fields take your equipment. I want to know Yeah, what have you ever been there? Let us know Yeah, what's the picture?
Send us a picture. Send us a picture. I mean, maybe the building's gone Maybe there's a post office there or something, but who'll stand there? But you know French, Paris is so old that there's a lot of buildings that survived the war You were just in London and how many buildings there predate the war that you were?
I mean a lot of them right? A lot of them are rebuilt but yeah because of the bombing But there's also a lot of the structures that were there and so there's a good possibility that a lot of the building may still be standing Can you imagine being the guy that the fourth or fifth or six guy that's rented this and doesn't know all of the stuff what's going on in that house? Doesn't understand why P-Shoot shoots on the store that's hard to say. P-Shoot shoots out of the store.
It would be interesting to Give him this podcast. Give this a listen. Here's a realtor something Here's a growing up. I had like this I had this thought like there's eventually gonna be running out of room where people didn't die Like I started having that thought like when I grow up and I get my own house Like someone's probably died in it because there's no other houses left.
I don't know I'm having a squirrel moment. Jess your microphone makes all these pretty colors Yeah, um, I can also like the top touch the top and it goes mute. So I love it. I need that pretty colors.
Yeah, send me a link Okay, it's pretty sure. I mean in the same quality's not bad either. Okay back back The lights are fabulous. I'm easily distracted by shiny things Okay, all right.
Well that was an interesting main topic And just FYI we talked about getting in touch with us. Uh, what is the best contact point? Which we what email address should we be throwing out? That's logical.
So I'm gonna look at you advanced purnormal.com. We've got some contact information there where we can go in there The other one would be advanced.purnormal at gmail.com or just head us up on Tiktok or YouTube Yeah, and if it's hate mail castle at wisp.org That's where all the hate mail goes. Um, on the advanced purnormal website We also have a lot of swag you can check out and buy yourself a mug or a t-shirt or bumper sticker or tapestry And say yeah, check it out and then like I said, find the contact information Let us know if you've ever been to uh, dr. seitan's area of the world.
I've been to paris Next time. Okay. Well interesting story about dr. se That would be a great vacation for sure.
Yeah, and how the counter comes to it later So, Emma, you got anything for us this week? Well, I just got a little one this week a lot of people have used the the sp7 spirit box And you know, it's got a terrible uh speaker internal speaker Some you know, it's this time you can't hardly hear it. There's a spirit box. Something goes Exactly.
Yep. So it's annoying to begin with and a type speaker makes it hard to hear with If you're not party on edge in a dark room throw that sound in there. Yeah That's that's the way we roll Let's get creepy But uh some vendors sell sell that with a little amplified speaker called a sprout I don't know if some of you've seen it. It's a white plastic thing with a foam cover It just plugs into the side.
It actually does an okay job. It doesn't come with all versions but uh, you know sooner or later you just graduate to uh, um, You know an aftermarket speaker and I found two that I really like one of them is the it's called the simplicity speaker And it was actually uh sold with sp7s for a while with it by a certain vendor and um It's bluetooth capable. The sp7 is not bluetooth capable, but you have to hardwire it, but uh, so you just plug it into the headphone Exactly the sp7 You plug it. Yeah, the sp7 has an output you plug it into there and the other end of the speaker And uh, this one's the one that it's actually cute because it says when you plug in the hardwire it actually says now in sp7 mode No, um what the people listening don't know You and jesser on zoom so i'm looking at you on computer screen you held it up So I could see it and even doc and chat could see it because i'm the only person that could see the computer screen Emma will you send us a picture of that so we can throw it up on youtube when this goes on?
I will and i've only it's actually i don't think it's been made for a while So the one i found i had to find on ebay i couldn't find it on amazon That's interesting i saw it on amazon well actually i saw it case for an amazon A what a case for like it will okay, oh, yeah, yeah, but the other one i've been using the fact We got several of them is the jbl go to which is a little square when it comes in colors And it is still very commonly available and it does basically the same thing And you know it'll run you about 25 dollars on ebay or amazon And that one you could get a little rubber boot for so you know things get knocked around as we use them and that that helps protect them But um, i'll get i'll get photos of both of those but those are the two mainly that i pack around they're small You know you could actually put the sb7 in the speaker in one hand and carry them around like that And it just makes a world of difference over that Pathetic little tiny on-word speaker right and if you're just investigating by yourself headphones are great with those It's perfect. Yeah, the only time it needs is the external speaker is just other people Yeah, public investigation and don't go investigating by yourself get a buddy Yeah, ever that was a good disclaimer. So that happened i mean i'm someone that uh needs to hear my environment when i'm in a place That's a bit spooky so i think i would just use that because i want to look around my surroundings and hear anything come Especially in like a old creaky place. That's why you use uh earphones with like a A recorder an evp recorder because then you're hearing you know all the natural sounds too, but you'll hear the evp's in real time over the headphones So that's a good tip little tricks you can talk about that.
That's awesome So just oh i didn't catch up. I think that's awesome. Thank you. Just did you have a stone for us today?
Yeah, um, I just was like what kind of message you need today and I picked amber apparently it's in a transparency calm purification Creativity and uh what it's saying it's kind of meaning is like maybe i needed to hear this today Um an issue that is causing tension and friction your life will soon erupt and come to a head You're being urged to stay calm during this emotionally charged event Express how you feel, but don't be drawn into saying things you don't mean this event is in fact a blessing one that is perhaps well overdue Through it you will realize where you stand and how others truly feel and then I looked up like the meaning of it Where other people are saying it and it's long been associated with good fortune fortune And according to legend amber brings good luck and helps you achieve your goals So I guess like you know bringing things to a head and then making it you know your life a little better and brings joy and happiness So if you find your two calling protect you from bad luck attract love and increase your financial status It's bleaching one of the oldest forms of natural healing Cool and it's used to clone dinosaurs. No wait, that was another documentary I need one sleep to break it. It's just shaking her. I'm so tired today.
I'm so tired. Uh, I think amber is beautiful though As a stone or a I don't know what you call it. I guess you call it a fossil right? It's a liquid.
Yeah, it's fossilized. I have yeah I have amber earrings that I bought at the dinosaur museum at the Thanksgiving point Yeah amber's there a mosquito in it. I'll have to feel like actually if you go To so that's gonna be any touch only how you talk you go to the dinosaur museum. That's one of the best ones in the world Museum of ancient life ancient life, we just call it the diasaurum So they have a whole wall of amber with different things in it kind of behind glass a little holes You can count it cool.
See it. Have you ever seen it? Emmett? No, oh you need to go to the dinosaur museum and then at the very end of the museum in the museum They've got like this water and sand and you can go in there and build sand and they got plastic dinosaurs You can play with with the water.
Okay, I'm in now. Yeah, what's got sandbox? There we go. Yeah, water Got water running.
It's amazing. They've had a lot of interactive things. It's an amazing museum. I mean the the fossils that they've got the They've got everything and if you're looking for someone to sponsor that gives you a point.
Okay, let's cool Well before the junk drawer, I want to remind you all about supernatural hours swag at advanced paranormal calm all of your swag needs Everything under the sun or the moon I should say yeah Yep, because it depends on the time of day. So for our junk drawer today I've noticed a lot of posts on facebook about Halloween candy and when you go into the stores You start to see Halloween candy in August as far as I am concerned if there's Halloween candy in the store You can decorate for Halloween, but that makes Jada the neighbors weirded out. So I will wait till the last week of September Anyway, so it doesn't mean you're not buying stuff already though. That is true You know what'd be cool for Halloween decorating would be flamingos deletons.
I have well, I have those You do? Oh, but she made them into vultures. I've got flamingos. They take the pink flamingo You can paint them in the white vultures and you put the white fuzz around in the eggs You paint a black and over nose, but I don't have skeleton ones I mean, that's what I should do being a fora.
Yeah, she should so yeah, but if you paint them the flamingos look a lot like a vulture Anyway, I can want to hear what everyone's favorite Halloween candy is I know it's not Halloween yet, but they're telling me candy in the store So dang it we're gonna talk about Halloween candy and I will start Reese's peanut butter cups Are my favorite candy, but you may come pumpkin shaped or Easter egg shaped or Christmas tree and they're better Are you eating the Reese's? I Think over to literally eating the peanut butter cup anyway Everyone's the shape ones. I got extra peanut butter and I've got to yeah I don't know. I think the chocolate's a little thinner and a little more peanut butter, but the pumpkin shaped Reese's peanut butter cups are the best candy on the planet followed they make one that's peanut butter now outside and the inside Now there's gotta be a little chocolate on me And now that I can eat carbs, I actually found some little carb Reese's peanut butter You know, we could just get you a jar of peanut butter and a bottle of chocolate syrup and a big spoon Not the same texture Oh, it's a texture thing.
It's kind of a texture thing, but that's not bad if I'm hard pressed. Okay Anyway, so followed followed after that by um all the joys when my kids were little They I'd have you know parent tax they come home from Halloween everybody had to give me one Reese's peanut butter cup Except for my one child who didn't like coconut. I would give one all the way All the joys are my favorite. Okay, definitely.
Have you guys tried the Skittles shriekers that have been out for the last couple of years? So they so they used to have zombie skittles which were they look like regular skittles kind of like how they do the bean boozle thing with jelly bellies But every once in a while you get a skittle that tasted like the air that came out of an old tire And it was absolutely horrendous like dry he horrendous To the point that they weren't fun to eat. Um, they have since uh taken a new approach So they have these skittles called skittles shriekers and they all look the same they have different flavors But uh, you know, they look like regular skittles every once in a while. You'll pop like a super sour one and my kids will love them Because they can take a tonic warhead sour.
Yeah, they're not quite that bad I mean, but you can definitely tell you pop one in and you go whoo that one was not like the other ones Um, but they're actually really good and my kids, you know where the zombie skittles would like make you throw up These just have a little extra sour punch and my kids like sour candy. So they love them. So I already bought like three bags of those The cat flavor. Yeah, no Disgusting, but yeah skittles reakers if you see them in stores every tasty.
I also like candy corn and I know that people are really Really polarized on candy corn. So you weren't like 1926 or something. I love candy corn. It is amazing I do too.
I can't eat it anymore, but if I could I would eat my body weight in candy corn Candy corn is one of those things for me that I don't think oh, I'm gonna go out and buy a bunch of this I mean aloeene I do because I like it but I mean just in general But it's like if there's a bowl of candy corn there It's like okay And the best are the brawks because they kind of have a honey flavor to them not just sugar If they've got that honey vibe. Yep, right. When I was a kid, I won a game of blackout using like melod cream pumpkins The same like candy corn, you know, a little pumpkin shake ones And I won and the prize was everybody's melod cream pumpkins They've potted all over for the last hour. Yeah, and I ate like my body weight in them and got super sick And so now I can do like a couple of candy cornices and otherwise I get super sick.
Yeah, that's me all six of them here That's the F for sure and for a Halloween candy for me. You never see these or rarely see these for Halloween candies good and plenty's So so Chad has said if I ever just want to block him off I just have to go to Costco by Costco size box and get him plenty's and just leave money to ask him He's death you diabetic. I have I have no self-control with good and plenty's sugar coated liquorates So if you ever see me walking out of Costco with a giant bag of good and plenty's someone better called Chad Are you up to bed? Give him a warning.
So one year for Halloween. They had the best candy. I think I just got it at Walmart and I've never seen it since I think I found it on Amazon and that was ridiculous crazy expensive, but they were these little candies. They were shaped like Brains and hearts and I think hands there's like three or four different shapes body parts and you would bite into them I think they might have had feet but you've been into them and there was caramel on the inside but caramel was red Oh those were the biggest hit.
I don't even remember what they were called, but they were fantastic They don't sell them anymore and they were actually good too. They went the way of the pumpkin taffy I haven't seen those for years either a little or two with thighs and the jack-o-lantern ones That's the infrolof and then basking robins. You're not gonna sponsor because this is a bad Baskin robins used to have candy corn ice cream which was amazing and they have it had it for a couple years So You're This is a stupid thing when they do like their flavor the year So Okay, when you talked about like the uh a candy tax for moms I have this thing where uh I don't finish things because I don't want to end or go away And I would let that candy sit forever to the point where my mom just ate it off And I wouldn't even notice because I just I just couldn't get myself to actually eat it But we can't do that by the way I am my mother's daughter and I do like sweet stuff Which one's your favorite? So I like to go between like a chocolatey thing and then like a non-chocolatey thing So uh Reese's a big one for me, but for a long time I ate too much of it So like I'm sort of getting back into it I like the mint kick-ats and uh sour skills like I ate too much or my tongue would hurt Same with the other Reese's if someone were to get me for Christmas like you know It would take me a two years to eat it because I'd have to eat it like once mid-time because It'd be hard as a rock I'm that mom that I'm cleaning out the car if I find it any better It's been on the floor for how long?
Do it do it if there's not too much left stuck to it It's all melted and gooey into your car No, if it's melted, it's melted. No, I thought it meant to be an intact one You know one that looks like maybe it was their recent minimal carpet fibers. Yeah minimal fuzz one that's actually a bear If it's melted into the carpet, no, my knee that's gross if there's too much Oh, Raven, I can never look at you the same again. No, I'm sorry But luckily I can't even show her anymore so that won't happen But comey bears are delicious, okay?
Emmet, what's your favorite? Well, I like I'm with you all the joys. They're good. I love those.
Nobody's ever heard any love for Nekko wafers Oh, those are good. Oh, and the licorice ones are the best Oh, I love licorice. When we went to the mill I literally bought sour skills and neko wafers because they had the little little country store at the The Benson Grismo. Yeah Yep, that's it.
I'm easy Yeah, that's the different candies. I like some of the old ones. You don't see it much but the blackjack Gum gum. Yeah, yeah, maybe a chick of a stick in there from time to time.
Yeah I like those With the little candy bits on the paper and you got to like suffer and eat some paper That's yours to me. You ever seen that? So I saw a story on Facebook about And I don't know if it's true or not It might be urban legend but someone who on Halloween would hold out their bag of you know treats for the kids to get And they would put a potato in it just at the very top just all this candy You know chocolate good stuff and then potato and apparently this potato has just become like the neighborhood You know everyone's all the kids are excited because they got the potato that year So I thought you know what I'm gonna do this so this year I'm gonna have a potato You think they'll take it out of the bowl when we put the the 15 pounds of candy on the front thing and the picture of Jesus and says be honest And you think someone's gonna take the potato Do you think that Chad has some issues over in Halloween candy? You wanted to keep it on Halloween candy for the kids not for us She was like 15 pounds of very good chocolate You know Snickers bars and baby Ruth and all this this is kind of the house to go to and then we'll get ready and go out to the Indian Hills Poor haunted house at like seven o'clock, you know to go down and help and get things ready So we put a big bowl of 15 pounds of chocolate out on the front and a picture of Jesus What the sign that says please take only two or three Jesus was watching yeah, and then dr.
Satan 2.0 Is gonna take that whole bowl and then fail right and then Chad take two thirds of it back in the house to eat it for him Yes, I do it's not for you. It's Halloween. Oh, it's like $60 in Chocolate I eat it while I'm passing it out is the secret is to start buying it now in some ways I Would turn the picture turn the picture of Jesus facing the other way But we came back Someone's going to I Am so doing that seems a little harsh We came back and they were still canning the bulk cuz the people in our neighborhood didn't want to go to hell last year There were like three smarties left All right, thanks, but you may hunt your friends have a good one.
