PFM - Drifting On By - AVAILABLE NOW!
from DNBE RSS Hosted by Drum and Bass Express.
PFM. Where to start? This Liquid master is instrumental in the birth of the rollers. Musical to the core and responsible for timeless classics, "One And Only" & "The Western" on LTJ Bukems Good Looking, you can be sure "Driftin On By" is nothing short of pure musical bliss. Opening up with confident drums highlighted by harmonics drenched in sunlight; like the seconds before dreaming, the intro holds your imagination hostage. Anticipation causes breathlessness while sparkling keys and hypnotic beats soften the blow. Before you realise it, you find yourself wrapped in warm, velvet like bass dripping in nostalgia as silky vocals drift through.
