Earlier today the PGA Tour announced that it, along with LIV Golf, DP World Tour, and all other associated tours would merge into one for-profit entity. The blockbuster news came out of absolutely nowhere, with players, media, and golf fans stunned by the news. Among the biggest takeaways, is that the much criticized Saudi funding that fueled LIV and its criticism- will now back the PGA Tour and it's endeavors.
