Pharmacist discusses safe disposal of prescription medications and Drug Take Back Day hosted by Good Samaritan

In this episode, Katie speaks with Heather McKinley, the Good Samaritan Pharmacy Staff Development Supervisor, about Drug Take Back Day. This event is hosted by Good Samaritan and will take place on April 20, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This will give community members the opportunity to dispose of their unused and expired medications properly. Heather also discusses the dangers of not disposing of these medications and alternative options for disposal that is offered year-round.
