Pharoah Speaks
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that God's power and authority are not demonstrated by His ability to overcome human opposition, but rather by His ability to bring about transformation in those who resist Him. Through the story of Moses and Pharaoh, it is shown how Pharaoh's initial hard-heartedness was a supernatural empowerment by God, allowing him to resist Yahweh's will, thereby enabling God to demonstrate His power and character through increasingly severe plagues. This challenges the idea that human stubbornness or opposition can be an obstacle to God's plan, instead highlighting God's sovereign control over all circumstances, including the hearts of those who resist Him. The takeaway is that God's glory and power are not diminished by human resistance, but rather are magnified as He works in and through even the most hardened individuals.
