Philippians 2:5-11 ‘God’s eternal plan for Christmas’ The issue is that God the Son stepped out of eternity into time, becoming the God-Man in order to provide the way in which people can be saved. This thought, this mindset should shape our very existence to realise that our Triune God did something remarkable on that first Christmas. That God came amongst us, that He took on flesh, that He humbled himself even to the point of death on a cross in order to save us.
