Phil Spence the travelling aeromodeller - Ep 86

Sometimes we don't know what lands our life will take us to, but often our aeromodelling follows. Phil Spence is our special guest this week and boy has he traveled a lot! Claiming to be one of the first aeromodellers to fly on Christmas Island, Phil has lead an interesting life, and now in retirement, has thrown himself full bore into flying pattern aerobatics. So much so he doesn't mind jumping in his car and travelling great distances to compete at an event. An avid aeromodeller that has led a very interesting and fulfilling life with plenty more to come.
