Combine interview blew them away. Looking for ways to integrate him in. “No team knows the value of an insurance policy at QB more than the Eagles”  (Andy Weidl-VP of Personell. Did alot of work on where he was potentially going - did not think he would be there in the 3rd. SB/Combine helped- full process with scouts and FO- alot exposure to him. Round 3 (103): LB Davion Taylor, Colorado Fastest- most explosive- raw- vision for use in defense- Traits for him to develope-ARMS 6' 0", 228 lbs 32 1/8” HANDS: 9 5/8”-4.49 40- 6.96 3 cone. Had option to trade back- but felt he had traits they have a vision for- it was a pick they wanted to make- knew going into day 3 with multiple picks. Impressive SB/Combine & proday Round 4 (127): CB K’Von Wallace, Clemson Liked his athleticism- phycisality around line of scrimmage High motor- will fit what they are doing. Round 4 (145): OT Jack Driscoll, Auburn Round 5 (168): WR John Hightower, Boise State. Round 6 (196): LB Shaun Bradley, Temple. Round 6 (200): WR Quez Watkins, Southern Mississippi. Round 6 (210): OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn. Liked his feet- didnt let up 1 sack, efficient in pas pro- can run get out in space, ancor. Played in SEC. knee ? - consistent grades across the board- Round 7 (233): Edge Casey Toohill, Stanford. High motor DE- talked bout effort (DP)- played with eagle wiring and eagle mentality. Went into offseason- “Can he run, is he healthy, can he play” - offseason motto. This offseason-due to covid19- Doug Pederson- made an effort to call their college coaches- talking to these people gave thme more insight Talked about positionless players going into offseason-Emphasis in this draft. Talked about trade for darius and effect on class. Talked about trading with Cowboys (146 v. 5 round was same guy & picked up a pcik) Wanted double digit picks. Talked about Darius v. a FA corner.
