PHILIP MARLOWE – THE HEAT WAVE (OLD TIME RADIO) Starring Gerald Mohr. The Adventures of Philip Marlowe is one of the classic all time Private Eye Radio Drama Series. On a sweltering day in April, Philip recieves a telegram to check out a burlesque show and report on the girl in the gold mask. Marlowe does his best to describe the sultry dancer known as Heat Wave, and in the name of doing business, he goes back stage to meet her.
