Phillipp Virus is a west-german music-video director and pioneer Vj. He has produced around 100 Videoclips, working with bands like Atari Teenage Riot, Alec Empire, and Dinosaur JR. His punk attitude took him on tour with these bands to portrait special moments in music history—as seen in his new documentary film Freakscene, The Story Of Dinosaur Jr. As a Vj, he presented his live visual set alongside iconic musicians like Techno Animal and Dj Spooky. In this episode, he shares some 90´s backstage anecdotes and his personal view on independent producing and the music and video industry.
