He specifically appeals to Euodia and Syntyche to resolve their disagreement for the sake of unity in the church.Paul then gives a series of practical instructions for Christian living. He calls believers to rejoice in the Lord always, demonstrating a joy that is rooted in Christ rather than circumstances. Instead of being consumed by anxiety, Christians are encouraged to bring every concern to God through prayer and thanksgiving. As they do, God's peace will guard their hearts and minds.Finally, Paul emphasizes the importance of focusing one's thoughts on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Believers are to put these truths into practice, following the godly example they have received.
