from Kitchener Baptist Church Hosted by Kitchener Baptist Church
In this sermon, the profound concept of Christ's exaltation is explored, emphasizing that His willing humility and obedience to the Father's will led to His supreme elevation. The message highlights that despite being God, Jesus humbled Himself to die for our sins, demonstrating ultimate sacrifice. This act of selflessness resulted in Him being given a name above every other name, signifying His rightful position of unparalleled authority and glory. This message further discusses how Christ's exaltation is powerfully manifested through His glorious resurrection from the dead and His subsequent ascension to sit at the right hand of God the Father. It is a pronouncement that His authority extends over all things—in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. The sermon underscores that this divine truth will ultimately be recognized by all creation, as every knee will one day bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Ultimately, the sermon challenges believers to embody the spirit of humility demonstrated by Christ, recognizing that such a life glorifies God. It reminds us that while Christ inherently deserves all praise and worship, His humble actions underscore the principles by which we too are called to live. His journey from self-abasement to supreme exaltation serves as both an example and a powerful prophecy of the coming universal submission to His lordship, bringing eternal glory to God the Father.
