He studied mathematics and computer science, and took a keen interest in software right away.eimmigration by Cerenade originally started as a multimedia software, back when Microsoft, and home computing, were still growing. Phillip, being a tech visionary, saw that there was a demand for software. He pivoted to immigration, having gone through the process himself and seeing an opportunity.Meanwhile Joel, his son, who also pursued computer science in undergrad, went on to get his MBA.
