Phillipians 2:8 Obedient to the Point of Joy

Jesus said, “Learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart” (Matthew 11:29). He showed us that true humility is active—it’s letting God work in us and through us.Philippians 2:8 says, “He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death.” That’s the life Christ calls us to—a life surrendered to God, not to our own pride.Romans 11:36 reminds us, “For from him and through him and to him are all things.” We’re simply vessels for God’s goodness. And James 1:17 says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above.” So, let’s choose daily to surrender to that deepest humility, which is the secret of the truest happiness, of a joy that nothing can destroy. Also featured is a segment on Prayer Matters.
