Phoenix
from Jon Lax Music / LaxMedia · host Jon Lax Music
"Fierce" contemporary jazz/fusion piece. Features a strong sax melody doubled up with electric guitar, Art Blakey type drums with McCoy Tyner type piano improvisational riff running through the sax and guitar lines. This tune is full of little variations while the drums lay down the groove. The piano solos add a nice kick to parts of the tune making a great nu-jazz fusion piece.
