Based in Marseille, born and raised on Switzerland border, french DJ/Producer Kriss Life Recorder has been moving and drawing his own signature since some time on the international scene with influences known to be rooted into the 90’ies and early 2000 sound and culture of Detroit, Chicago house and techno music mixed with his European background. Recognized for his « deep » house-techno sound, since his release on Keith Worthy’s Detroit label « Aesthetic Audio » back in 2012 , Kriss has since then, been constantly expressing, travelling between both genres and atmospheres, moving forward and finding his way through his musical vision which gave releases on labels like « Bokhari » « Appian Sound », « Grounded In Humanity » or « Hizou Deep Rooted » to name a few aside of Dj gigs in Europe and more with stops at Tresor Berlin, Night Moves London (Jane Fitz & Jade Seatle party), Belgrade, Mallorca, and more recently in Georgia and Armenia. In the meantime Kriss has been also working on his local scene with the collective/record shop, Extend & Play. In 2017 Life Recorder took new steps, focused on the birth of his label «Life Notes Recordings» releasing 4 ep’s and still going. Then in 2020 Swiss masters Alex and Steph Attias released his « Time Moods » Ep on their respected « Visions Recordings », which has been getting support from legends and inspirations like Ron Trent or DJ Deep.
