NVIDIA has reportedly agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, potentially combining NVIDIA's GPUs, Isaac, GR00T, Cosmos and Jetson with Hugging Face's model hub, LeRobot and Pollen Robotics. The result could be one of the most complete development stacks in Physical AI, but it also raises a major question about Hugging Face's neutrality. Hai Robotics passes 10,000 contracted warehouse robots, Renesas targets a much larger share of the humanoid electronics stack, and Transfyr raises $25 million to capture tacit physical knowledge for autonomous science.
