Piano Expressions No. 2: Joy

I love to sit at the piano and improvise. Every now and then, while I'm improvising, I'll start playing with some ideas that I really like. These recordings come from those ideas. The pieces recorded here are semi-improvised; they are still being played off the cuff, but with a few of the ideas prepared ahead of time. For this second one I wanted to do something in sharp contrast to the first. After listening back, I'm tempted to make some tweaks and orchestrate it. It seems like this would work really well with a large ensemble.
