Most children would have asked their parents for help. That wasn’t an option. One thing was for sure, my mother’s narcissistic traits were only one spoke of her wheel of maternal madness. I had to identify, decipher, cope with and attempt to understand all of her spokes at once. I couldn’t just pick one. What would Nancy do?
