In which we are introduced to the convivial and somewhat eccentric society surrounding Mr Leo Hunter, whose elaborate public breakfast brings together a motley gathering of literary figures and colourful personages clad in fanciful costumes. Amidst the gaiety and boisterous camaraderie, Mr Pickwick's keen sense of justice and loyalty stir him to pursue a certain intriguing character beyond the festivities.
