Picture this babe
from Poetry by Tim Windisch · host Tim Windisch
Picture this babe Come to me woman, and butter my fears with the comfort of promise and hope, celestial sun showers of tomorrow's that we can drive our dreams across and pick up memories like roadside wildflowers and keep them in a pretty vase in our minds to share forever; our very own jukebox of collected smiles Picture this babe, close your eyes and softly kiss me through the phone, it’s just more or our life’s trials Install yourself an app to keep track of more than just every place that your going and where to begin Why not store things you encountered along the way there and back, for it’s the journey brings the grin Grab hold of the best things you see, enjoy them now to the fullest extent but I tell you don’t stop there Picture this babe, we can plant a garden of giggles and tend it kissing under the sun, such a grand affair Wrapped in candy coated aspirations Passionately exchanging flirtations If it’s a wondrous thought might do the trick We’ll have a yard full of them from which to pick Picture this babe, you and I swinging in our meadow of memories of laughter Picture this babe, just like those fairy tales we’ll live happily ever after Tim Windisch 02/24/2024
