The Rev. Benji Davis of Christ Church, Winston Salem, NC Fr. Benji began his career as a firefighter with aspirations of cattle ranching before becoming a committed Christian. After transitioning to vocational ministry, he studied biblical languages and theology, with a focus on the Old Testament. He and his wife, Ashley, moved to Winston-Salem in July 2020, becoming a curate at Christ Church under the mentorship of Fr. Ben Sharpe. In January 2023, he became the second Rector of Christ Church.
