Pikiell Battles Cancer With Team | Rutgers Basketball News

Rutgers men’s basketball coach Steve Pikiell stunned the college hoops world Wednesday with a powerful announcement: he’s been diagnosed with cancer. After months of feeling unwell, he underwent surgery and is now on a clear treatment plan — determined to stay involved with his team as much as possible. Pikiell entrusted his staff, especially Coach Knight, and his players to keep the program moving forward, embodying the same grit he demands from his squad. Athletic Director Keli Zinn backed him wholeheartedly, praising his resilience and confidence in Knight’s ability to lead. No return date is set, but everyone’s rallying behind Pikiell — and his fight. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
