Pilgrims, Exiles and Ambassadors

The global situation we find ourselves in can produce fear. But we are God’s church, the bride for His son. This is a time where He is calling our personal lives into order, that we can be the church He has called us to be, recognising that we are simply ‘passing through’ the here and now. This is not our final destination. God is speaking to: – The pilgrims – 1 Peter 2:1-12 – the 20-30’s age group: Push back the boundaries, go to new territories – The exiles – Jeremiah 29:4 – the 40’s-60’s age group. Jeremiah was chosen from his birth – a 70 year plan – what’s our 70 year plan being sown into those coming behind us. Building something for the kingdom… – Ambassadors (2 cor 5:29) veterans who have sacrificed. They’re the ‘pedlers at the city gate’. Those who have stood with the leadership.
