Pilot: Aaron De Jesus

IT'S THE SERIES PREMIERE! Put your red dress on and get ready to go back to the old neighborhood! We sat down with the "big man in town" — resident Frankie Valli at New World Stages and our good friend, Aaron De Jesus. We pulled the curtain back and talked about all the things that made us want to start this show in the first place. Everything from the famed Frankie Camp, the mysterious lighting blackout, mythical JERSEY BOYS Bible, racial sensitivity in JERSEY BOYS, and of course a profound appreciation for Nick Massi's character. The emotional and technical genius of JERSEY BOYS took Broadway — and the world by storm — and 15 years later, "they're still playing the same songs!" Since his JERSEY BOYS debut in the Vegas company in 2012, Aaron has racked up over 1500 performances as Joe Pesci, and got a well-deserved promotion to the titular role of Frankie Valli where we're always "beggin" for more. He's just too good to be true! Producers: Daveed Ben-Arie, Gia Doxey, and Cainan Grier. Researchers and Hosts: Daveed Ben-Arie and Gia Doxey Audio engineer/Editor/Composer: Cainan Grier Follow us on Instagram at @SilhouettesJBPodcast_ for more updates and JERSEY BOYS content.
