Pilot Season

Making up for missing an episode last week, Jon watched a bunch of stuff: Howard, the Howard Ashman documentary; the long belated animated movie Animal Crackers; Muppets Now, the new Muppets show for Disney+; Central Park, Loren Bouchard and Josh Gad's animated musical show on Apple TV+; Harley Quinn seasons 1 and 2; plus, rewatches for Chowder, Kung Fu Panda, Jurassic Park, and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Also, in lieu of a discussion, this week Jon introduces 4 new series pilots: Hail to the King, a Godzilla movie retrospective series; PokéCinema, a Pokémon movie and special retrospective series; This is Your Life, Charlie Brown, a Peanuts movie and special retrospective series; and his most ambitious one, DisneyMation, a retrospective for every animated movie made or owned by Disney. If you want any of these pilots to become a reality, share the episodes so they can get more listens and downloads, support the show on Patreon, or let Jon know through Popcorn Junkie's social media or at [email protected].
