Pilot Season: The Fall "Dark Descent" (2x06) #16

A serial killer is stalking women throughout Belfast while police struggle to connect the clues. Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson is brought in to review a seemingly unrelated investigation, only to discover that a dangerous predator may be hiding in plain sight. The pilot wastes no time establishing its tense atmosphere, complex characters, and chilling cat-and-mouse game between hunter and hunted. On this episode of Pilot Season, hosts Kinte, Jen, Renée, John, Olaf, and Allen discuss the show's gripping opening hour, the performances of Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, and why The Fall became one of the most acclaimed crime dramas of the 2010s.
