平安夜与火鸡：野生动物不要登上人类的餐桌

平安夜，忙碌了一年的西方人都会回到家乡与亲人团聚。餐桌上都会有烤火鸡这道大餐，火鸡于公元前5000年被墨西哥人驯化，15世纪引入欧洲。野生火鸡目前只在北美洲南部生活。它们在非繁殖季雌雄分群生活，繁殖季则实行一夫多妻制。人类已经驯养了那么多动物，有的役使，有的肉食，就给野生动物留点生活空间吧，不要让它们再成为人类餐桌上的食物。
