Pinnick Named Cougars' New QB | Spokane News

Caden Pinnick, the seasoned transfer from UC Davis, has officially earned the starting quarterback role for Washington State — and he’s ready to light up the Apple Cup against 17 Washington on September 6. After outdueling returning QBs Julian Dugger and Owen Eshelman through fall camp, Pinnick brings over 3,000 yards and 32 TDs from his redshirt freshman year, plus a familiar offense that helped seal his decision to transfer. He leads with poise, thrives outside the pocket, and values team growth — all while facing an immediate high-stakes debut on the road.
