‘Pinulot sa kangkungan’: Typhoon Odette and the doomed pigs of ‘Lechon Capital’ Carcar City

Carcar City, Cebu is famous for its Lechon Baboy. But when typhoon Odette struck, markets were empty. Local lechon vendors were forced to roast their pigs in advance, at least those they were still able to save.
