Ben Cherington said Sunday it has been an excellent year for Paul Skenes. The Pirates are 3-13 in Skenes' last 16 starts. This whole situation is strange. MLB analyst Matt Clement joined the show. Matt said Skenes is not going to come out and say he is fatigued or hurt because he wants to right what he's done wrong. Matt thinks bad mechanics lead to arm fatigue, which can cause injury.
