Pirates Softball Stars Shine Academically

Five Pirates softball stars just earned Academic All-District honors—Anna Sawyer, Julia Apostolakos, Trinity Nichols, Gabby Fowler, and Jenna Krol—making it two straight years the team has five players recognized for crushing it both in the classroom and on the diamond. Sawyer, a communication grad, smashed records at the plate with a walk-off homer; Apostolakos dominated the mound with elite stats and conference honors. Nichols led offensively while maintaining a solid GPA in psychology; Fowler delivered clutch hits and doubles while anchoring defense; Krol, the catcher, kept runners in check and pursued elementary education. Their achievements prove elite athleticism and academic excellence can—and do—go hand in hand. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
