A Sobering but Necessary Awakening Over the past couple of years, Pisces has undergone a series of profound reality checks — and for a sign whose essence is rooted in spirituality, compassion, and transcendence, this has not been easy. Pisces is known as the zodiac’s dreamer: a water sign that embodies what it means to be in this world, but not of it. You feel the emotional and energetic weight of the world deeply, often more intensely than most. Because of this sensitivity, Pisces is notorious for escapism.
