Pixar’s Soul

This week, things are a little bit different for the Plotaholics...by 24 hours. Bryan spent the weekend driving, so we are here with a special Monday post! But never fear. We are here.With that being said, this week we tackle our second-ever animated film with the 2020 Disney-Pixar film, Soul, starring Willie Beaman, A "Middle-Aged White Lady," Mrs. Huxtable, and T'Challa's Mom. In this film, we meet cool jazz cat Joe (played by Jamie Foxx) who gets the gig of a lifetime until a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's carelessness costs him his life. Not willing to go to the Great Beyond, he ventures to the Great Before where he meets 22 (Tina Fey), a wayward soul that isn't ready for life yet. There's a lot going on in this episode as we talk the film, streaming services, and the wealth of a barber.
