PixMinis Episode 32: Riley's First Date?

In preparation for Lightyear, Arun and Patricia decide to bring PixMinis back where they look back on a Pixar short every day until July 12. In this episode, they discuss about the 2014 Pixar short Riley's First Date?, which was featured on the Inside Out DVD and Blu-Ray. A teenage boy is picking up Riley to go out somewhere and Riley's dad assumes that he's taken her out on a date. Both of the parents' emotions activate with Riley's dad asking questions him to see if he's right for her and Riley's mom is trying to act cool to ease the awkward situation. Very similar to the film, the short has gotten praise from viewers saying it was a nice continuation from the movie. Do Arun and Patricia agree? Listen and find out.
