PixMix Episode 10: Monsters University

In this episode of PixMix, Patricia and Arun discuss about the prequel to Monsters Inc., Monsters University. It takes place years earlier where we see Mike and Sully first meet at Monsters University learning how to be scarers. Mike is passionate about scaring, but isn't good at it while Sully is very overconfident in his skills and family lineage. When they accidentally broke the dean's trophy, she threatens to expel them. But then they decided to wager a bet on if they win the upcoming competition against the school's fraternity teams, they'll return to the school. Mike and Sully end up in a fraternity that are nerds and terrible at scaring, but they teach them basic skills until they are a force to be reckoned with.  When the movie premiered in theaters, it received mixed to negative reviews with fans claiming that it was a generic college movie with the Monsters Inc. characters and how they much preferred a sequel.
