Some of the emails referenced pizza and other "code words" in weird ways that internet conspiracy theorists picked up on, along with the mention of a particular pizza place in Washington DC called Comet Ping Pong. These emails along with the art favored by James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong, and the art of John and Tony Podesta led internet sleuths to believe that there was a pedophilia ring being run out of Comet Ping Pong.
