PJ Dean Makes Statement Debut | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

PJ Dean, Georgia’s freshman outside linebacker and brother of former UGA center Jared Wilson, exploded onto the scene with a dominant debut against Tennessee State—racking up two tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1.5 TFLs. His standout performance wasn’t just luck; teammate KJ Bolden confirmed Dean knew he’d have a big day, showcasing his relentless work ethic. Originally eyed for the offensive line, his pass-rush potential became undeniable, leading him to choose Georgia over offers from Ohio State and South Carolina. After battling an early injury, he returned strong in fall camp, thriving at OLB—and already making waves on the Bulldogs’ defense. While coach Kirby Smart notes SEC-level competition remains ahead, Dean’s raw talent and impact make him a name to watch closely.
