Plain Air painting, a way of seeing the world.

On this episode of Painting Discourse, I come across three rusty chairs leaning up against a birch tree in a wooded field that provided a pretty good visual challenge to paint. I talk about plein air painting and phenomenology, as well as a quote describing the works of Van Gogh from the Deleuze and Guattari book "Anti-Oedipus".
