The plaintiff says he went out of town for work and asked the defendant to watch his puppy when he was gone. The puppy died when he was gone, so he’s suing for unpaid rent and emotional distress. The defendant argues she had nothing to do with the puppy’s death. Then. The plaintiff says the defendant is her son, who often got in trouble for fighting at school. She says he borrowed her car and crashed it, so he’s suing. The defendant says the car was in his ex-girlfriend’s possession when it was damaged, so he’s not responsible. Plus, The plaintiff says she stole the defendant’s wallet years ago, but they got past it. She says she hired the defendant to plan a memorial service for her son, but she’s suing for breach of contract. The defendant is a nurse and event planner.
