Planning With Trust

Throughout our lives there has always been a plan. Our parents raising us, striving to be a good student, getting a job, getting married, and raising a family. Plans are just that. We have no guarantees that our plans will turn out the way we expect. There is an old Yiddish adage that says, “Man plans, and God laughs.” We need to realize that our plans are not always God’s plans. Aging of a body will, in many instances, change our body from a healthy one to one requiring doctor’s, medication, or hospitals for treatment. Our future is in God’s hands. He is guiding us throughout all the stages of our life. The Lord is always leading us and will continue to lead us. Our life’s prescription is to have total faith in him.
