Most D&D campaigns feature goblins, dragons, and undead, but plant monsters? Surprisingly rare, yet brimming with untapped potential. Imagine giant, carnivorous trees that trap and digest adventurers, or vines that respond like intelligent predators, silent, deadly, and eerily plausible in a fantasy world. In this episode, we explore why plant-based creatures are underutilised in gaming, despite their terrifying potential and fascinating biology.
